Step-1: Open Kodi setting
By default, Kodi has disabled the option to install third-party apps. But to install top Kodi add-ons, you need to enable this first. This is the same step we follow while installing Ares Wizard on Kodi.
The best thing is, no matter where you have installed Kodi, the Kodi user interface (UI) is the same and so this method will be applicable everywhere.
To enable the “Unknown Sources” just follow the “Gear Icon” and open it-
Step-2: Open System Setting
Once you will click on the gearbox, you will be taken to a different screen. Here you need to select “system” and then you will get the option to enable unknown sources: System>Add-ons>Unknown Sources
Step-3: Move to Add-Ons options
Now we need to open the “Add-ons” option. You can find this at the left navigation bar
Step-4: Enable Unknown sources:
Here you will find an option to enable unknown sources. There is a chance that you will get a warning message. Simply ignore that and press Yes.
Step-5: Open File Manager
Once you have enabled the unknown source, open the file manager. For this you need to go one step back. This is the place where we will provide the download address of repository file.
Step-6: Select Add Source
Here select “Add Source” option in this step-
Step-7: Select <None> Option
Here you need to select the path of the Kodi repository. As we are installing ccloud TV (third party app) and so select <None> option here.
Step-8: Enter repository address
As you have selected <None> option and so you need to enter the repository address. As discussed earlier, ccloud tv add-on is available in Kodil repository itself. And so, enter http://www.lvtvv.com/repo/ in the repository address and simply press OK.
Step-9: Give the repository a name
You have provided a custom repository address and so now let’s give it a name. As it is available in Kodil repository and so let’s provide it a name as “Kodil Repo“. And then press OK. And final again a box will come summarizing all the details, simply press OK there also.
Step-10: Access Add-Ons Now
So far, we have initialized the repository from where we need to install ccloud tv on Kodi. Now go back to Home and select Add-ons options again from the left sidebar.
Step-11: Open Package Installer
At the left top corner, you will find an icon for the package installer.
Step-12: Select Install from Zip file option here
Package installer will take you to a screen where you need to select “Install from Zip File” from multiple options available.
Step-13: Open Kodil Repo Folder
Remember the repository name we provided as “Kodil Repo“? We need to open the same folder here.
Step-14: Select Repository File
Here you will find a zip file available. Select the file with the name “repository.kodil-1.3.zip” from the list. Once you will click on OK, you will get a notification within a few moments that Kodil repository has been installed.
Step-15: Choose to install from repository
Once done, you will be redirected to another screen where you need to select “Install from Repository“
Step-16: Choose ..Kodil repository
The option “install from repository” will again take you to a different screen where you need to select “..kodil repository“. This is the 2nd step out of total 3 to install the add-on.
Step-17: Open Video Add-ons
Now you can select video add-ons here in this step-
Step-18: Open cCloud TV
This will open all the apps available in this repository. Here you need to select the ccloud tv
Step-19: Select Install Option
Once you have selected “cCloud TV” it will give you a few options from where you need to select the “Install” option as shown below-
Step-20: Install Kodi Dependencies
While installing cCloud TV on Kodi, several other apps will be installed. These are called as Kodi dependencies. You will be prompted a screen where you need to select ok to get those installed.
Step-21: Open cCloud TV now
Yes, you have installed cCloud TV on Kodi 18.0 successfully by now. Simply come back to Kodi Add-ons list and you will find cCloud TV available there. Select cCloud TV and start enjoying IPTV channels streaming on your Kodi devices.
